We leave the bright lights of Vegas and head for the scenic splendor of UTAH. First stop is the Dixie Rodeo in St George for a celebration of Americana and intense cowboy action. A visit to UTAH's premiere ski resort, Park City, is next on the agenda, but not to ski. Fletch interviews ex-Mayor Dana Williams to discover his unique take on sustainability and environmentally responsible development. Back in Salt Lake City Fletch visits the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to hear their signature sound and, to Stig's dismay, is invited to sing with the choir. The dismay continues in an exploration of Ice Hockey at the training ground for the UTAH Grizzlies where Fletch is asked to be guest goalie for the day. The road trip ventures south to Monument Valley where Fletch fulfills a lifetime dream to photograph the magnificent scenery and meet with local Navajo residents to explore their connection with the land.

    Culinary Heights (Culinary Heights)

    Culinary Heights

"For years, the Scandinavian cuisine, the ""Nordic Cuisine""", has consistently set trends in the international gastronomy scene. In the "Kadeau", celebrity chef Nicolai Nørregaard places particular emphasis on local products – especially those that do not immediately impose themselves as "typically Danish". Nørregaard opened his first restaurant in his home country, the Danish summer island of Bornholm, and Bornholm is still in the DNA of his kitchen. Fruits, herbs and berries are picked, dried and salted and are then paired with grilled oysters and smoked salmon. A feast for all the senses, not least for the eye. This applies not only to the sensational creations on the plate, but also to the "Kadeau" as such: Martin Klein, Executive Chef of the Salzburg restaurant Ikarus, is surprised when he approaches the house for the first time. A small blue wooden door in a small cobblestone alley – should that be it? But behind it is a lovingly designed restaurant that meets all expectations of Scandinavian design. The kitchen is in the middle of the room, every guest has to cross it on the way to the table. Martin Klein suspects: It will be adventurous again. Only three days to create a menu together that will mark the month of October in Ikarus – will Martin Klein make it again?""

Dragons: Real Myths and Unreal Creatures

Dragons may be objects of fantasy, but why do cultures throughout the world — in very different times and places — share common tales of these larger-than-life creatures? Dragons: Real Myths and Unreal Creatures traces the legend of dragons through time, and across cultures and continents, exploring their connections to history, geography, paleontology, literature, art, national identity, and more. In the film, dragon legends unfold through a conversation between Skye Ingram (Laurence Leboeuf), a young woman troubled by recurring nightmares of dragons, and the peculiar Dr. Alistair Conis (Max von Sydow), a dream therapist of sorts and an expert on dragons. Dragons explores humankind's fascination with these fantastic creatures over thousands of years. Dragons appear in some of the worlds' earliest known writings in ancient Babylon and Greece. They appear on notable architecture, imperial crests, battle armor and national flags throughout the world. In Chinese and other Asian cultures dragons are revered as noble and heroic. In Medieval England, there are stories of massive, winged dragons terrorizing villages and castles, eventually to be slain by heroes.

    Another Way (Another Way)

    Another Way (Another Way)

    Another Way

ANOTHER WAY is the most ambitious movie ever made about snowkiting. The idea of the documentary is to follow this "other way" and to show to the general public that there is another way to approach the mountain. In winter the general public sees the mountain through the ski slopes. We, by definition, search for untouched spots off the beaten track. Our kites allow us to move rapidly over a large part of the mountains, going down or up. With good wind conditions, we can climb slopes of more than 40 degrees, and once at the top we can go back down either ski with the kite if we want to be fast before climbing again, ski back down with the kites in our backpacks for more freedom of movement, or just by flying!

    Dream Journey

February 2017 saw me embark upon a travel expedition through Scotland, Poland, France, Mexico, Belize and, (alas!), back. Not only was it the first time I ventured out to Central America, but also the first time I seriously pushed my bravery boundaries to do a whole lot of things I'd never tried before. I defeated my life-long fear of scubadiving and skydiving, (the Carribbean vistas do help! – No danger I'd do that again in Aberdeen), I went zip-lining over a Mexican jungle, I tried habanero-packed streetfood, (failed at that miserably), and organic tequila, (managed that better;), I climbed a Maya pyramid in the middle of a Belizean rainforest and fed hibiscus flowers to a very extravagant donkey. Most importantly, however, I got to know some incredible people – from shamans, wanderers and artists to refugees, businesswomen and expat cowboys. And thanks to aaaall of that, I also got to know a little bit more about myself for visiting the most remote corners of our planet reminds you how different and yet how similar we all are. I'm looking forward to sharing my incredible experience in 5 exciting episodes of our travel series, which really turned out to be a Dream Journey:) I simply cannot wait for more!
